Tun Mahathir cakap Najib Penakut!

Ini kata-kata Negarawan Berjasa itu; “We see that he is a penakut (coward). He is always saying, ‘yes sir, yes sir, saya sokong, saya sokong (I support, I support).”
Bila Pak Lah berkokok mengatakan BN, kalah disebabkan sabotaj, Najib pakat main angguk tanpa berfikir kali kedua.

“I believe he should rightly explain the real reasons for Barisan’s losses in the election,” Tun M bercakap bila ditanya tentang sebab untuk beliau menukar fikiran tentang Najib, selepas memberi ucapan berkenaan “Malay, Malaysian and Malaysia: Challenges Ahead” diUniversity of Manchester; Sabtu lepas.

“I’m not so confident (about him taking over as prime minister). Even so, it all depends on Umno to appoint the person to be prime minister.

“Najib will have to face competition from others such as (Tan Sri) Muhyiddin Yassin, (Datuk Seri Dr) Rais Yatim, you never know.”

“Anwar thinks he will be prime minister. It’s not that they loved him but it’s a marriage of convenience,” beliau menambah.

“If they can show me the removal of (former Lord President) Tun Salleh Abas was against procedures prescribed by the law, please let me know," katanya.

NAJIB’S STATEMENT NEGATIVE
KimQuek
--------------------------

“Najib does not look like Mahathir, but he sounds like Mahathir”. That seems to be a common impression of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak’s callous statement that followed Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s heart-warming speech over the 1988 judicial crisis during Bar Council’s dinner on April 17.

While the warmth generated by Pak Lah’s statement were still lingering, Najib’s incongruous statement the following day must have jolted many to the reality of present day Malaysian politics. Obviously referring to Pak Lah’s speech, Najib said:

“The ex-gratia payment is not tantamount to revisiting whatever that has been decided. It is not to be construed as any form of apology but this is our way of addressing some of their personal considerations and some of the personal experiences, hardship that they have gone through.”

“That is all … so it is to be seen in that light. It should not be construed as anything beyond that.”
